free address correction

Address standardization plays an important role in address verification. It is impossible to verify a postal address unless the postal authority sets guidelines for address formatting.

The first step in checking the validity of a postal address is to standardize the address by using a postal authorities standards. An example of standardization would be that the United States Postal Service requires all letters in a postal address to be capitalized.

Address standardization by itself greatly increases deliverability time and percentage of successful deliveries. Unfortunately standardization is not a complete solution and does not maximize the reduction in undeliverable mail. You will not receive bulk mailing discounts from the USPS unless you process your addresses with a CASS certified address verification service or solution.
