Supported Carriers for SMS Notify! API
Carrier coverage varies and is dependent on the number used to send text messages. Carrier networks may be accessed by DIDs, short codes, or both.
DIDs are 10-digit SMS-enabled phone numbers used for low volume two-way messaging. Short codes are 5- or 6-digit numbers used for high volume and marketing SMS.
1SMS Coverage with DIDs
All major U.S. and Canadian carriers are supported when sending from U.S. DIDs. Global DIDs are available with International Extended SMS. Click here for available DIDs and carrier coverage details.
2SMS Coverage with U.S. Short Codes
The following U.S. carriers are supported on U.S. short codes.
Any short code messages sent to an unsupported carrier will be sent over the DID network.

3SMS Coverage with Canadian Short Codes
The following Canadian carriers are supported on Canadian short codes.
Any short code messages sent to an unsupported carrier will default to sending SMS over a DID.
